Child dies after falling into road ditch

Kathmandu: A child has died after falling into a road ditch in Janakpur.
Rohan Mukhiya (2 years old), from Janakpurdham Sub Metropolitan City-25 Lohan’s Hajam Tole, died after falling into the ditch. The contractor had left the ditch open while constructing the road. He was the son of Tanjit Mukhiya.
Rohan was out of the house to play at around 6: 30 a.m., Friday. But his family members found him dead inside the road ditch.
