Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed optimistic belief that his upcoming the United States of America and China visit will be profitable.
PM Dahal held a meeting, with political leaders and former prime ministers to discuss the agendas regarding his foreign visit, at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.
PM Dahal said, ‘This meeting has been called to discuss how to make the upcoming China visit more profitable and effective. All your suggestions are vital. This will help my visit to become more effective. We have tried our best to make the visit effective. ‘
Former Foreign ministers, former Prime Ministers, and heads of various political parties were present in the meeting.
The leaders suggested creating a balanced diplomatic relationship, reviewing the previously implemented agreements, focusing on bilateral interests including each others’ security, and building trust for neighbors regarding Nepal’s non-aligned foreign policy. They also suggested proper homework on the subject matters on which Nepal can gain profit before going on the visit.
