Neymar breaks Pele’s record

Kathmandu: Brazilian Football star Neymar has broken Pele’s record of being the highest goal scorer for his country.
He created history by scoring his 78th goal in the match against Bolivia in World Cup Qualifier 2026. Brazil beat Bolivia by 5- 1 goal.
Neymar completed the milestone of a 78th goal in his 125th match for Brazil. Striker Neymar (31 years) surpassed Brazilian idol Pele’s 77 goals record.
Brazilian legend footballer Pele scored 77 goals in 92 matches between 1957 to 1971. Pele passed away on 29th December 2022.
