Kathmandu: Blue Diamond Society has celebrated Gaijatra with the 20th Nepal Pride Parade festival.
LGBTIQ members gathered in Tundikhel to mark the day. They have been celebrating the Gaijatra festival by presenting their gender identity.
Blue Diamond Society has been celebrating the day by publicly accepting one’s gender, raising their voice against any kind of discrimination and biases as well as paying tribute to the departed souls.
Society has been celebrating the parade for the past twenty years. Many Nepali artists have also presented musical performances on the occasion.
