Husband dies while saving wife from electrocution in Jhapa

Kathmandu: An electrocution has resulted in the death of a man in Jhapa.

The man died of electric shock whereas his wife got injured in the accident in Arjundhara Municipality-9. Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Prasad Rijal said that Amrit Regmi (24 years old) was killed due to an electric shock.

According to police, the accident occurred in their home at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Amrit’s wife Mamata got entangled with the electricity. Amrit went to rescue her but was unable to save himself in the accident.
