Gold biscuit after melting; What will be new weight? (Photo Feature)
Kathmandu: The Mint (Takshar) Division of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has completed the melting of the seized gold.
The melting process began at 10:30 am today. The gold was separated from the brake shoe on Monday.
The weight of the separated gold was 60 kg and 789 grams. It is predicted that the quantity would further decrease after the meeting. The weight of the biscuits has not been disclosed yet/
Department of Revenue Investigation had seized 155 kilos of ‘Brake Shoe’ on 19th July. Then it was placed in the Mint Division.
