Death of a teenage girl from snake bite in cowshed

Kathmandu: A teenage girl has died due to a snake bite in Pancheshwor-4, Baitadi.
Janak Bahadur Chanda, Ward Chairperson, said that a snake bite Anita Chanda (16 years old) when she was sleeping in a cow shed during her menstrual cycle. She was on the fourth day of her menstrual cycle.
Anita was studying in grade nine at Jabalpur Secondary School, Sailoda, Baitadi. Although the family had tried to call Vaidya for her treatment, it was too late.
