Flood in Mahakali; Water level crosses warning level

Kathmandu: The continuous rainfall has resulted in the rise of the water level in the Mahakali River.

The local administration has requested the local people in the peripheral area to remain alert.

Paigaun Flood Measuring Centre, Dadeldhura reported the water level rising above the warning level. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology issued a notice for the local people of Dadeldhura and Kanchanpur to remain alert as a huge flood occurred in Mahakali.

There is a prediction of heavy rainfall for the upcoming three days in Nepal.
