Demonstration of Cooperatives' victims; Skirmish outbreaks with Police while blocking the road

Kathmandu: A skirmish has occurred between cooperative victims and police in Bijulibazaar. The clash occurred when police tried to stop the victims, who were blocking the whole road. They started their demonstration from the Maitighar and reached Bijulibazaar.

Repeated pushing took place after the police tried to stop the victims. This fueled the skirmish. The victims are protesting to get their savings back. Most of the cooperatives have fled away with the savings.

‘Sahakari Pidit Bachatkarta Mahasangh Sangharsha Samiti’ has been protesting by demanding their savings back in the demonstration. The victims have been demanding savings from the government.
