Construction companies protest with equipment in front of PM Residence

Kathmandu: Construction Companies have placed their dozers in front of the Prime Minister’s Residence at Baluwatar.

The construction companies placed their dozers and other construction-related equipment on the road, during the protest, on Tuesday.

President of the Nepal Construction Professionals Federation Rabi Singh said that the problems related to the construction companies need to be addressed as soon as possible.

The demonstrators have demanded the preparation of an action plan by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’  to address the demand and make the construction companies return to work.

They have warned to continue the protest unless the implementation of the previous agreements and increasing the deadline of all the contracts is wholesome.

The demonstrators have been demanding the amendment of the Public Procurement Act.
