President Paudel authenticates 'Civil Code' bill

Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel has authenticated the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Civil Code, 2080.

President Paudel authenticated the bill on Friday. The NA passed the bill again accepting the amendment to the bill related to usury sent by the House of Representatives with amendment and message on Thursday.

On the occasion, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Dhanraj Gurung presented a proposal for the passage of the bill. The bill was put to a decision after none of the lawmakers took part in a discussion on the bill.

The HoR passed the bill with amendments on July 16.
