I might have been sentimental but have not spoiled anything: PM Dahal

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has clarified his statement regarding Pritam Singh.

PM Dahal confessed that his expression regarding Pritam Singh was a bit sentimental while speaking in Parliament on Monday. He said, ‘Everyone knows that I am quite sentimental by nature. That expression was also a result of the emotions. Do I need to resign immediately after the question raised by the opposition?’

He said that he was clarifying rather than for sarcastic comments. He said, ‘I am not standing here for a counterattack. I am clear. I might have been quite emotional, but I have not spoiled anything.’

During a book launch program, PM Dahal said that Sardar Pritam Singh had visited Delhi multiple times for his post of Prime Minister. This triggered CPN (UML) to interrupt the parliament meeting demanding the resignation of PM Dahal.

PM Dahal clarified just after an understanding between top leaders of the Nepali Congress, UML, and CPN (Maoist).
