Kathmandu: Muglin-Narayangarh road, which was closed since 2 am, has been opened.
According to the Road Division Office, Bharatpur, the road has come into reoperation at 7:15 am after the landslide was cleared. The road, which opened at 5:30 pm on Sunday, was closed again from 2 am.
Landslide has been recurring in the particular site. The road section that saw disruption for around 18 hours on Sunday had come to reoperation since last evening.
Immediately after resumption, the landslide occurred and disrupted road operation. It was quickly cleared off to bring the traffic to operation.
Daily thousands of vehicle pass through the road. The passengers moving to and from different parts of the country have been hit hard due to frequent disruption of the road. The District Administration Office Chitwan has urged the people to not use the road section until and unless there is emergency.
