Kathmandu: French government has decided to mobilize 40,000 police officers to control the increasing violence in France.
The decision of deploying police has been made to control the violence increasing in various parts of France.
Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said that out of 40000 police 5000 police would be deployed in Paris.
An officer shot a 17-year-old boy Nahel M at point-blank range on Tuesday. Nahel had refused to stop in traffic and had driven away.
Police arrested 180 for fueling violence. According to the Interior Ministry of France, 170 people were injured while controlling the situation.
According to BBC, Nahel’s mother even requested people to join a March in Nanterre, where her son was killed. There are chances of violence in March.
