RSP marking first anniversary with various programs

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSSP) is marking the first anniversary of its formation.

RSP was formed under the chairmanship of Rabi Lamichhane on Aashad 7 (June 21) last year. The party achieved incredible success in the elections held in last November, winning 20 seats in the House of Representatives.

The party also gained success in the by-election, with Swarnim Wagle winning from Tanahun and adding one more seat to the HoR.

RSP is organizing various programs on the occasion of the first anniversary. A joint meeting of the central and parliamentary parties will be held at 10:00 am.

The press conference will be held at 11 am and tea reception event will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm. The event will be held at the party office in Banasthali.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, chairmen and presidents of various political parties, chiefs of diplomatic missions and chiefs of private sector organisations have been invited on the occasion, RSP said.
