Khanal boycotts Socialist Front; Not to attend declaration program

Kathmandu: CPN (Unified Socialist)’s senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has boycotted the Samjadwadi Morcha (Socialist Front). He has decided not to appear in the declaration program.

Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal, Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist), and Nepal Communist Party (NCP) will be announcing the Socialist Front at 4 pm on Monday. But, Khanal would not be present in the meeting.

Khanal informed Nepal View, ‘I won’t attend the declaration assembly. I am quite busy. I will talk about additional matters later.’

Earlier, Khanal said that the front would not be announced unless the objectives, primary policies, as well as enemies, were mentioned.

Unified Socialist Party Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal has been supporting the immediate announcement of the Socialists Front. He is optimistic about it.
