Kathmandu: Chairperson of Janamat Party Chandra Kanta Raut ‘C.K. Raut’ has questioned about boycotting the Saptari.
Raut shared his opinion while attending the discussion over budget on Friday. Raut said, ‘Mr. Minister must answer. For whose happiness, has Saptari been boycotted?’
He added, ‘Under the strategic road, construction of the bridge, as well as their preservation program, 707 bridges needs to be constructed, out of which one has been planned in Saptari. Only five lakhs have been sanctioned for it. Will a bridge be ready with five lakhs? Please share your opinion. Under Ministry for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, not a single project has been planned in Saptari whereas projects have been planned for seven districts of Terai.’
Raut sarcastically commented upon the Chairperson of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP). Raut had defeated Yadav with a huge majority in the election on 4th Mangsir. Yadav was elected from a by-election held in Bara 2 on Baisakh 10.
Raut had also sarcastically said that Raut was not able to stay without becoming a Member of Parliament even for a few months.
