Kathmandu: Police have arrested human rights activists and officials of Peace Society. Police arrested the demonstrators in front of the Federal Parliament House, New Baneshwor.

Police arrested the demonstrators from Gate No.3 (West Side) of the House, which is a restricted area for demonstrations. The demonstrators were demanding action against the ones involved in the corruption-related cases including the fake Bhutanese refugee scandal.

Uttam Pudasaini, former President of Society, informed Nepal Views, ‘ Whoever found guilty must be punished in the fake Bhutanese Refugee Scandal. If the Top-most leaders are found guilty in the case, the Parliament and Members of the Parliament must remain adamant. They must be directed like in the National Panchayat System.’

The Police have kept a total of 16 protestors including Krishna Pahadi; Protector of Peace Society, and Former President Pudasaini.
