Clarification of PM Dahal-Didn’t go in front of the Indian HoR, questioned about the ‘Akhanda Bharat’ map

Kathmandu: Prime Minister PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has clarified that he did not go in front of the newly constructed Indian House of Representatives.

PM Dahal gave the clarification while answering the question of the members of parliament on Monday.

PM Dahal said, ‘I didn’t go in front of the new HoR building. I had only watched it on TV in Nepal. I talked with India. They said to take it in a cultural-religious way. We will keep discussing the matter.’

He said that he was a secularist. To the question raised about him being a theist or an atheist, he said, ‘The question has been raised regarding theist or atheist. I am a secularist. This is clear. The religious belief of the people must be respected.’

PM Dahal accepted going to Ujjain to worship and said, ‘I went there. After going there, it was not the thing of not entering. It would have been disrespectful to enter the temple without wearing ‘Geru Wastra’ (holy Hindu attire). It is not a matter of discussion.’
