CTEVT’s vehicle falls into Sunkoshi River; Search operation begins for finding 3 officials

Kathmandu: The vehicle of CTEVT has fallen in the Sunkoshi River.  The vehicle fell, from the Laukun of the Ghurmi-Khurkot road section under Madhyapahadi Lok Marg, into the river.

The Scorpio, with number plate BAG 7467 that was moving from Kathmandu to Khotang, fell from Golanjor-7, Laukun, Sunkoshi, into Sunkoshi. Police reported that three people in the vehicle had not been found.

According to the initial investigation, driver Krishna Bahadur Chaudhary swam after the vehicle fell into the river. Police said that the vehicle was completely drowned in the river and gas created challenges in the rescue of other people. The condition of other people is still unknown.

According to police, CTEVT Director Krishna Bahadur KC, Director, Yam Bahadur Bhujel, and Technical Officer Bhanu Poudel were in the vehicle. The local people and police have been searching for them.
