Amnesty receiver Resham Chaudhary misuses govt. vehicle

Dhangadi: Resham Chaudhary has been found misusing the government vehicle. Chaudhary, who was in jail for 5 years in the conviction of the Tikapur incident, had been misusing a government vehicle.

Chaudhary was released on Monday after receiving amnesty from the President on Republic Day. Chaudhary, who is also the founder of the Civil Liberties party, has been using the vehicle of Tikapur Municipality.

Chaudhary went to meet the captives of the Kailali incidents on the Scorpio, with the number plate of ‘Se 1 Jha 298.’

The Tikapur incident took place on 24 August 2015, leading to the brutal killing of seven police officers and a two-year-old baby. On March 7, 2019, Kailali District Court sentenced 11 people, including Chaudhary to life in prison for their roles in orchestrating and carrying out the massacre.
