Need of resolving the problem of sugarcane farmers immediately: Amresh Kumar Yadav

Kathmandu: Member of Parliament (MP) Amresh Kumar Yadav addressed the problem of sugarcane farmers in the ongoing meeting.

While speaking during the zero hours, Yadav claimed that the farmers had not received the sugarcane supply payment and demanded justice.

Yadav said, ‘How to plant crops with the absence of money? How to buy fertilizer? How to buy seeds? Neither there is the availability of fertilizers nor seeds on time. Nor management of irrigation. On the other hand, the government even puts the payment of the sugarcane pending and puts farmers in limbo. That’s why the problem with Sugarcane farmers must be resolved soon.’

Yadav said that the government has converted the cash crop sugarcane into a credit crop.
