‘Ready to go to jail if found guilty in Maoist combatant camp scandal’: PM Dahal

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has announced to go to jail if found guilty in the disqualified former Maoist combatants camp corruption scandal.

PM Dahal claimed while answering the question of House of Representatives (HoR) member Gyanendra Shahi that he had been accused of political biases.

Dahal said, ‘The expenses in the combatant camp are already audited subject. There is no irregularity in it. I am completely assured that this is a politically biased accusation. If the investigation claims me guilty, I am ready to go to jail.’

The central committee meeting of CPN (UML) demanded a thorough investigation into the scandal and other scams a few days earlier. UML has been supporting the agenda of fully supporting corruption-related issues.
