Heated argument in Central Committee meeting of RPP

Kathmandu: A heated argument has taken place in the Central Committee meeting of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP). This led the meeting to being halted for some time.

Central members are sharing their opinion in the ongoing meeting since Monday. The Central Committee member Kishor Karki questioned the functioning style of Chairman Rajendra Lingden while sharing his point of view on Tuesday afternoon.

Karki alleged Lingden of following the path of a leader possessing the qualities of a thief. This triggered a heated argument between Lingden and Karki. During the same course, Lingden said, ‘Mind your language, I can take action against the indiscipline.’

The team of 63 leaders led by Karki had handed a memorandum to Chairman Lingden highlighting to ‘Improve the working style’ before the parliamentary election in November. Karki had even criticized Lingden for not addressing the memorandum.

One of the central committee members said, ‘What kind of leadership is this? What kind of leader is he? Shan’t he address all the thoughts at the party? Where will such an act lead the party?’
