Balkrishna Khand will prove himself innocent : Mahat

Kathmandu: Former Home Minister and Nepali Congress leader Balkrishna Khand has said to prove himself innocent. According to Nepali Congress Spokesperson and Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Khand has shared his thoughts about proving himself innocent with party leaders.

Mahat, during an interaction with a media person, said, ‘Fake Bhutanese Refugee Scandal is a serious case. The party is serious regarding the case. A fair investigation needs to be done We will fully support the investigation. Guilty must not escape, Innocent must not be trapped.’

Mahat said that the party was not aware of Manju Khand. He said, ‘The party has not followed her. Whereas, in the case of Arju Rana, she filed the complaint herself.’
