Happy for progress in fake Bhutanese refugee scandal investigation: Oli

Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has shared happiness about the ongoing investigation into the fake Bhutanese refugee scandal.

Oli, just before the beginning of the central committee meeting in Chyaasal, said, ‘I’m happy that the investigation is progressing.’

He added the whole movie is still to be watched. Previously, Prime Minister PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had said that it was just a movie and the whole movie is to be shown.

Oli reminiscing the reaction of PM Dahal said, ‘The one who said to show the movie has not begun yet. Still waiting for that.’

He emphasized that his fight was for controlling corruption. Oli said,’ There is support in this matter. The guilty must not escape and the innocent must not get punished. There’s nothing to talk about this.’

Police have arrested a total of 12 people involved in taking Nepali people to America as fake Bhutanese refugees. Former Home Minister Balkrishna Khand, and Deputy Secretary of Government of Nepal Teknarayan Pandey are also among the arrested ones.
