‘3-400 people have already gone to America as fake Bhutanese refugee’: Oli

Kathmandu:  CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has claimed that 3-400 Nepali people have already reached the USA by becoming fake Bhutanese refugees.

Oli claimed the fake migrators while addressing the meeting in the central office of the UML on Thursday.

He said, ‘More than 3-400 Nepali have reached the USA becoming Bhutanese. ‘

Oli said that he had arranged the procedures for the rehabilitation of the Bhutanese. He said, ‘The environment was not favorable for keeping refugees under the plastic shelter when Bhutan refused to take them back. I initiated the talk with the USA to rehabilitate the refugees at that time. Now, they are living a good lifestyle.’

He had announced that he would reveal other details in the upcoming National Assembly on Jestha 4.

Likewise, Oli alleged the CPN (Maoist) of keeping the relief money in the name of former combat fighters.

Oli said, ‘Maoist-led government is trying to move forward by its sole decision of providing 2 lakh rupees to extroverted fighters and others in the current situation. It appears like compelling the government for making a forceful decision to provide 1 lakh 50 thousand to the local people and take the remaining sum.  This happened in the combat camp. The inappropriate way of keeping the national treasures in the pocket is corruption.’

He assured that UML was always in the favor of the nation and the country. He added, ‘Our party has always been attempting for peace, good governance, prosperity, and democracy.’
