Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)’s Chairman and House of Representative member Rajendra Lingden has questioned the progress in the fake Bhutanese refugee scandal.
He had requested not to free anyone related to the scandal in the HoR meeting held on Wednesday. Lingden said, ‘What is the progress in this case? The Parliament must be informed.’
Lingden said,’ There must be no act of freeing the culprits related to fake Bhutanese refugee scandal. Government must be serious in this case.’
He termed the scandal as a felony. Lingden said, ‘This is not only related to the degree of corruption. This is a felony. No one should imagine freeing people related to this case. There are rumors of passing the case to the CIAA by halting the investigation by the Police. No excuse must be made to free the people related to the case. Government must not conduct such mistakes.’
