Kathmandu: The removal of unmanaged assembling of wire has begun inside Kathmandu Metropolitan on Monday. Metropolitan along with Nepal Telecommunication Authority and Internet Service Provider Company have started the systematic arrangement of the wires.
As per Kathmandu Metropolitan, the initiation of managing wires came into effect as per the understanding between representatives from Nepal Telecommunication, Internet Service Providers, and Metropolitan on Sunday evening. The clearing of unmanaged wires began in various parts of the metropolitan areas including Maitighar Mandala, and the streets of New Road in the early morning.

The technicians are removing and managing the rings and ball of wires in the electric poles, broken as well as suspending wires.
Metropolitan had ordered the telecommunication authorities and internet companies to remove unmanaged wires, addressing the city losing its charm and increasing the risk of road accidents, within 15 days.

Nepal Telecom fixed the routes Maitighar-Airport, Tripureshwor-Maharajgunj, Newroad-Basantapur-Asan, Maitighar-Putalisadak-Narayanhiti, Bhadrakali-Narayanhiti-Kamaladi-Ranipokhari for managing the wires.
Likewise, Dillibazaar-Anamnagar-New Baneshwor, Naxal-Baluwatar-Shital Niwas, Maitighar-Tripureshwor-Kalanki, Lainchour-Ascol-Ranibari-Samakhusi, Sohrakhutte-Dhalko-Tanchal-Swayambhu, Sinamangal-Old Baneshwor-Gaushala, Gaushala-Boudanath and Kalimati-Kuleshwor-Balkhu are also part of the routes.
