Kathmandu: The budget session of the federal parliament is scheduled to begin today.
President Ram Chandra Poudel has summoned the meeting of both houses on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
The meeting of both houses of the federal parliament will begin at 4:00 pm today at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor.
As per today’s schedule, the speaker of the House of Representatives will read out the letter which was received from the president regarding the summoning of the parliamentary session, including the letter about the expansion of the Council of Ministers.
Similarly, minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dhanraj Gurung will present an ordinance regarding the amendment of some Acts related to the Civil Code of Nepal.
Likewise, finance minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat is also scheduled to propose a discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2080/81 BS.
