Nord Stream blast: Documentary reveals Russian ship’s presence

Kathmandu: An investigative documentary reveals Russian ship’s’ presence during the explosion on the Nord Stream pipelines.

Putin’s Shadow War, recent TV documentary series, has provided a possible hint that shows the involvement of Russia.

The Russian ship, capable of underwater operation, was found in the peripheral area of the pipeline blast site. It was in communication with the Russian Navy.

Those passive two Nord Stream pipelines, built to carry gas from Russia to Europe, exploded underwater in last September.

The actual reason behind the blast is not clear. Russia blamed the UK and other Western countries for the blast.

Likewise, Intelligence had even doubted the Ukranian government for the blast. The peripheral countries near the blast site are still in the phase of the investigation.

The preliminary investigation of the countries has pointed out that the sabotage was the cause behind the explosion rather than the accident.

Although, a Russian vessel SB-123 was reported to have suspicious movement at the blast site, five days before the incident, reports BBC.
