Death toll rises to 19 in Ukraine

Kathmandu: The death toll due to the Russian air strike in Ukraine has raise to 13. The officials in Uman have reported the death of 17 people including a child in the central part of the city.

Likewise, the mayor of Dnipro reported the death of a woman and her three-year-old daughter in the air strike.

Ukrainian city Kremenchuk also faced the consequences of explosions. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that a total of 10 residential buildings were damaged in Uman. He highlighted the need for more international actions against Russia in his tweet.

According to the state rescue service, 11 people were in the hospital. The attack is reported to be the first attack in the past 51 days, reports the military administration head of Kyiv.

Ukraine’s air defense system succeeded to shot down two attack drones and 21 out of 23 missiles reports BBC.
