K-pop star Moonbin passes away

Kathmandu: Korean record label Santiago has announced the death of K-pop star Moonbin.

Moonbin’s manager had found him unresponsive at his apartment on Wednesday night.

He was 25 years old. Police suspected the death was a case of suicide. But the police are waiting for the autopsy report for knowing the actual cause of Moonbin’s death.

He joined the popular Korean band ‘Astro’ in 2016. Moobin was only 18 years old at that time.

Moonbin has been popular in the K-pop community also as an actor and model.

Moonbin along with his duo Sanha, another Astro member, was in the middle of a World Tour ‘Diffusioin’. They had performed in Bangkok on April 8.

Moonbin’s sister Moon Sua is also a K-pop singer. She is part of the girl group Billie.

Astro group is moving back to Seoul after the tragic incident. Arohas, Astro fans, have been sharing their condolence through social media.
