Malaysia sets 236 run target for Nepal

Kathmandu: Malaysia has set a medium target of 236 runs for Nepal in the first match of ACC Men’s Premier Cup.

Malaysia has set the target of 236 runs during the first match being held at Kirtipur Cricket Stadium. Malaysia had opted to bat first after winning the toss.

With the loss of 9 wickets in 50 over, Malaysian team scored 235 runs. Malaysian captain Ahmad Faiz scored half-century. He collected 76 runs out of 95 balls with 8 fours and 1 six.

Likewise, Virandeep singh made 46 runs out of 94 balls. While Khizar Hayat, Syazrul Idrus and Muhamad Syahadat scored 22, 21 and 15 runs respectively. Whereas syed Aziz made 13 and Vijay Unni 12 runs for Malaysia.

Nepal’s bowlers Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamicchane each took 3 wickets. While Lalit Narayan Rajbashi and Gulshan Jha bagged 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
