Deuba’s letter to Bhattarai: ‘Let’s continue to strengthen the coalition at the national level’

Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has requested Nepal Samajwadi Paty Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai for strengthening the coalition at the national level.

President Deuba formally wrote a letter to request Dr. Bhattarai. Samajwadi Party, under the leadership of Dr. Bhattarai, is optimistic regarding the support after receiving the letter titled ‘Request to make candidates of coalition victorious in the by-election.’

The letter requests, ‘Let’s strengthen the coalition at the national level by electing candidates of the coalition from the by-election. Therefore, I sincerely request to mobilize friends from your party with proper direction to make the candidates from the coalition win the by-election.’

A leader of Samajwadi said that the party is optimistic regarding the request of supporting the votes of Congress leaders through the letter.

The letter highlights the request for support for candidates from Nepali Congress leaders Govinda Bhattarai and Jitnarayan Shrestha in Tanahun and Chitwan constituencies respectively.

The Central Executive Committee of the Samajwadi Party, held in Subidha Nagar on Tuesday,  had a meeting at the party’s central office regarding the letter and decided to support the candidates of Nepali Congress in the by-election.
