Gold price hits new record

Kathmandu: The price of yellow metal has reached all-time high in Nepali market on Wednesday.

Breaking the previous record, gold price has today reached all-time high jumping by 2,000 rupees per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, hallmark (Chhapawal) gold is being traded in market at 1,11,000 per tola.

Likewise, the price of worked (Tejabi) gold has also hiked by 2,000 rupees, reaching 1,10,500 per tola. But the price of silver has remained stable at 1,400 per tola, Association said.
