IGP Kunwar receives insignia

Kathmandu: The newly-appointed Inspector General of Nepal Police (IGP) Basanta Bahadur Kunwar has received the insignia of his rank.

Kunwar has been presented with the insignia of the Inspector General of Police at an investiture ceremony organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs.  Home Secretary Binod Prakash Singh has decorated him today with the insignia of Inspector General.

A Cabinet meeting On Friday had decided to appoint Kunwar as the Inspector General of Nepal police (IGP). Kunwar is the 30th Inspector General of police. As a new head of the Nepal police, he has vowed to bring reforms in the police organization.
