Kathmandu: The captain of the Nepal National football team Kiran Chemjong has found the short preparation time for Prime Minister 3 Nations Cup challenging.
Kiran shared his thoughts about the preparation for the tournament at the Pre-Match Conference held by ANFA on Tuesday.
Nepal is hosting the tournament, which is starting on Wednesday onwards. Kiran added that all the players on the team are physically fit and ready for the tournament.
‘Although the team and coach are new, there is trust between players. We are ready for the tournament.’, Kiran said.
Vincenzo Alberto Annes is officially debuting as the national head coach of Nepal from the tournament.
Coach Vincenzo has evaluated the performance of the players in the A-Divison League to form his team and is optimistic about the formation.
Nepal has already announced its 23-member squad with 7 new faces. Laos Coach Michael Wes has said that the home league in Laos created challenges in the preparation but it is ready to face Nepal.
The captain of Laos Soukaphone Vongchiengkham said he is excited about the tournament and happy on his first visit to Nepal.
