PM Dahal optimistic regarding vote of confidence

Kathmandu: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal shows an optimistic belief toward a vote of confidence from all political parties.

During an interaction with media persons on Sunday, PM Dahal said, ‘I believe all the political parties will give me the vote of confidence. Last time, I received 99.25 percent of the votes. I have hope of getting 100 percent of votes tomorrow.’

PM Dahal is seeking a vote of confidence from the parliament on Monday. As a number of parties including CPN (UML) have pulled out support for the government, the PM needs to verify the belief of the house of representatives upon him.

Previously, PM Dahal had taken a vote of confidence in Poush 26 (10th January).  He had gained 99 percent votes at that time.
