Russia bombing rescue operation in Nova Kakhovka dam: Zelensky

Kathmandu: Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has charged the Russian force with bombing the rescue workers in the Nova Kakhovka dam.

President Zelensky said that more than 2000 people were rescued from the flooded area in Kherson and Mykolaiv. He accused Russian forces of stranding Ukrainian people to the flood.

Zelensky said that the rescue operation was going on despite the continuous shelling from Russia. He claimed that Russia had stranded people without rescue and water.

Zelensky feared stranded people in the Kherson region, might die due to lack of food, water, and medical supply.

Likewise, Zelensky expressed his dissatisfaction against Redcross society and the UN for the failure in the rapid rescue operation in the dam-destructed region.
